Liposuction methods in Turkey
At the present time, liposuction is one of the most prevalent cosmetic procedures in the whole world, and therefore it is necessary to take an idea about the means of these operations and their most commonly used techniques, as looking at all the available techniques and knowing the differences between them helps in determining the best procedure for the patient according to the desired area of liposuction and the results that the patient expects. All of this is after consulting the specialist doctor. In this article, we present a simple explanation of the most common liposuction methods:
Liposuction methods:
traditional way:
It is the manual method and is considered one of the oldest and most prevalent liposuction methods in the field of liposuction operations. In this method, a surgical incision is made in the skin using a dedicated surgical scalpel, and then the fat that the client wants to remove, But before that, a large amount of a local anesthetic solution with saline is injected into the target area, and this procedure aims to sterilize the area and help in liposuction of the melted fat later, and this method is recommended in large areas of the body such as the buttocks, abdomen, and others.
Laser liposuction:
The area where the fat is to be removed is targeted with laser beams without the use of a surgical scalpel as in the traditional method.
The basic technique here is to rely on the heat emitted by the laser beams to break up the bonds of the adipose tissue and thus dissolve the fat. As for the melted fat, it is withdrawn by a cannula, which is a small tube It has a very small diameter, and the important feature here is that the laser beams help stimulate the production of collagen fibers in the skin, and thus contribute to tightening the skin within the targeted area and giving it a healthy appearance.
Vaser liposuction (UAL):
Or what is known as ultrasonic liposuction, which is also characterized by the absence of a surgical incision to complete the operation, and it relies on ultrasound that works to break up the connections between adipose tissue cells, and for fat that has been dissolved, it is also withdrawn by cannula, and it is recommended to follow this procedure In sensitive or small areas of the body, such as the face, chin and neck, it is distinguished from other techniques by its high accuracy and ideal results, but it requires more time than other methods.
Water liposuction:
It is considered one of the traditional methods, but it is not a desirable method, but rather a controversial method. It requires anesthetizing the patient in general, and depends on the principle of pumping large amounts of liquid into the area where the fat is to be dissolved, and this liquid consists of saline solution and anesthetic under the skin in the target area. The downside of this method is that it requires general anesthesia and can cause weight gain, which is an undesirable result after the operation.
