The length of the transplanted hair is between 2 to 8 cm, depending on the area to be transplanted, and the slide technique in hair transplantation can lead to the appearance of a thin linear scar in the donor area, but it does not appear to be covered by hair.

This technique does not require haircuts, which makes it the preferred technique for women, as, for men, hair can be shaved with a length of two centimeters
